DDR is here

Come play DDR and Guitar Hero on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 6-8pm. Bring in signed permission slips (available at the library & online at http://www.stonehamlibrary.org/teens/ddr.pdf) get the chance to play DDR and Guitar Hero!

Video Contest Awards Night

We had a great time at the awards ceremony on Tuesday night and handed out the following honors:
Best Animation: Julia McCarthy "Ivan the Terrible"
Best Historical Documentary: Julia McCarthy "Lego Mongolia"

August Events

There's tons of stuff happening next month, so come by and check it out!
Scavenger Hunt: Tuesday, August 1
Stop by and pick up a copy of our scavenger hunt arounf town. Return the completed form by August 31 to be eligible for a prize raffle.

Deadline for the North Shore Video Contest: Friday, August 4
Today is the last day to submit your original video to the library for our first annual North Shore Video Contest. Winners will be notified prior to the Awards Night held on Tuesday, August 22 at 7pm. All the prize-winning videos will be screened and prizes will be awarded.

Anime Club: Thursday, August 17 ~ 4pm
Teens are welcome to stop by to screen anime and enjoy a few Japanese snacks.

Teen Advisory Group: Monday, August 21 ~ 4-5pm

Choose Next Month's Anime!

At our first anime meeting we weren't able to vote for which video should be the next anime title we screen. So now here's your chance. Check out our choices at this website and email Theresa with your top picks at theresa@stonehamlibrary.org. If you email me through Blogger, remember to use my email address when it asks for "Friend's Email". I'll post all of the results as they come in. We have until June 20 to select mext month's title.

Middle School Murder Mystery Dinner
Monday, June 26 ~ 6-8pm
Piece together the clues to solve the murder of our
music librarian. Pizza dinner will be served.
Registration is necessary.
Dance Dance Revolution
Wednesday, July 12 ~ 6:30-8:30pm
The first 20 to bring in signed permission slips (available at the
library & online) will get the chance to play DDR!.

Summer Reading
All Summer Long
We have all of your Summer Reading books plus if you sign up
for our summer reading program all those hours of reading for
school can count towards adopting an animal in need.
North Shore Video Contest

Anime Club!!!

Calling all anime fans! The Library is starting its first anime club on Friday, June 9 at 3pm. We'll screen free anime from Operation Anime and enjoy a few Japanese snacks - banana soda, anyone?
